Sheikha Mozah’s Couture Wardrobe on State Visit
It just took 3-days for Sheikha Mozah, the Emir of Qatar’s wife, to make headlines during the state visit to the United Kingdom. Sheikha Mozah’s wardrobe during the visit got people talking, including top British designer Julien Macdonald, who praised her style: “not since Jackie O has any first lady had such global resonance in terms of fashion” and went on saying “glamorous and sophisticated, the very epitome of a royal”.
During the welcome ceremony at Windsor palace, Sheikha Mozah wore a grey Christian Dior couture skirt suit which was featured on the runway, she had matched the look with a dark grey fur stole said to be from YSL, the look was completed with a rows of peral necklace and a pair of lovely chandellier earrings. After the welcome ceremony, Sheikha Mozah changed into a dark teal outfit with a matching turbon. For the banquet held during their state visit at Windsor Castle, Sheikha Mozah choose a floor length red dress with a matching bolero, the dress was altered by adding the bolero since the dress came down the Valentino couture runway strapless. At the banquet, Sheikha Mozah choose to complete her look with Chaumet earrings.
Day 2 of the visit, Sheikha Mozah wore a lovely cream tweed suit with red trimmings on the jacket, the jacket & skirt were shown on Chanels coutue runway show for the season. Sheikha Mozah matched the outfit with an unusal pair of faux fur boots made by Chanel as well. For the afternoon event, Sheikha Mozah wore what was said to be an Armani Prive outfit, a lovely black jacket with embellishments down the front and on the sleeves worn with pants – the look. A floor length grey J.Mendel couture dress was worn with a large diamond snake necklace from cartier that had 2 large diamonds in the center to the Guildhail banquel in London.
On the last day of the visit, Sheikha Mozah was said to be wearing a Jean Paul Gualtier couture burgandy coat/dress.Filed under Qatar Royals
