I can not say I like this outfit very much. The blouse looks too wide. The shoes and the purse are lovely but they don't match well with the blouse and pants IMO.

i like it, i think she's getting out of her "fashion break" finally...

and yes, i like the style of the blouse, it's a summer preview.

She looks great and perfect for a relaxed day of with the family.

I think they both look nice.

and she has time for shopping!!! I am suprise even for shopping she use this high heels, I think I would go like the Baronesse flat shoes!

I like the dress, but it looks mismatched with that long cardi: too formal dress and shoes and too casual cardi.
I love th bag.
I quite like how the baroness is dressed, btw.

While I like the outfit, the whole outing is very celebrity with "I am famous" sunglasses without the sun shining outside.
Mary and Helle look like bad copies of Posh Beckham and Eva Longoria.
Too funny Duke, the outfit I don't mind, I like casual elegant as opposed to the sloppy jeans look from almost the whole world!

Not a big fan of a dress. Don't like the skirt part. Also, find the combination with the cardigan not the best. The cardigan should be either shorter (waist - length) or longer than the dress. It looks odd this way.

Like the shoes and the bag is nice. Not a fan of big sunglasses.

Oh please, the sun doesn't need to shine for everyday people to wear sunglasses either.

Why wouldn't she have time for shopping? :ermm:

I like the dress but it doesn't match with the informal cardigan. I quite like the Baroness top.

Like the cardi just bought one similar but obviously not as posh as Mary's, like her bag but I do agree am envious she can shop in heels that high... her companion looks in good shopping mode.

I go along with your view as to the high heel shoes; flat ones could be more comfortable. I don't mind the look at all. :)

I just thought how she has time for shopping and dressing with high heels when she has 4 kids to take care and taking care of her duties as a princess too!

I agree. Mary's dress is pretty awful with the elastic in the bodice and waist. the giant sweater in a very different color and size seems like a giant after thought like, oh it's cold...
the baroness looks cute

Every one needs a little 'me' time.:) She is allowed to do this you know.

I think she looks nice, it is what it is. I would want to hide behind my glasses too if I had a heap of cameras in my face.

Mary's cream dress is by Prada or Miu Miu & personally I think she looked great in the white dress with the middle part detailing which adds to the dress. The brown bag & shoes are great with the look. Not liking the messy hair but lovely shades.

I like what Mary wore during her shopping trip. The dress is lovely, she already wore it in April 2010 during the State Visit from Russia. With the cardi looks fine. Shoes & bag are good too, I think that the bag is Prada.

She looks very nice but I prefer a more comfortable shoes for shopping despite a flat one will not go well with Mary outfit.

I think it all depends on how long the trip was :) If I go shopping directly after I left the office, you will find me hobbling on cobbled streets

It also depends on a person. I love heels and wear them almost all the time - shopping, walking, work... almost everywhere. I am able to walk in heels all day long with no problems. So, for me (maybe for Mary too, who knows) it's really comfortable wearing heels while shopping.

the outfit in the sailing photos is nothing special, but is perfect for the day.

hahaha, helle really looks like eva!!!!

is it me or mary's not using makeup?

the cardigan is the same she wore when she left the hospital(and presented the twins to the press for the first time) after the twin's birth. and the dress was recycled, too. i think the shoes and bag are new, i don't know exactly.

mary did not walked too much, so maybe it was ok for her. personally, i prefer to go shopping with high heels, specially when i buy shoes, because that is the way i make sure the shoes are comfortable. that 's something my doctor recommedned to me when i had problems with my feet. and it worked very well.

she wore that dress before she wore it in russia. it was in 2007 or early 2008, and she wore it with a channel-style long jacket and the burgundy hat. but i don't find the photo yet.

Or maybe she did but she just like heels and feels more comfortable wearing heels than flats? I don't think we know how much did she walk...

She looks okay, but I wouldn't want to go shopping like that...
