Princess Christina Awarded First Sophiahemmet University Honorary Doctorate

During the graduation ceremony of the Sophiahemmet at the Stockholm City Hall on Thursday, Princess Christina, Mrs Magnuson was awarded the Sophiahemmet University’s first honorary doctorate. She received the honour from the University’s principal, Johanna Adami, and the Sophiahemmet chairman, Lars Kihlström Burenstam Linder, in recognition for her long-standing commitment and dedication to the Sophiahemmet. Christening of Désirée Magnuson

The Swedish Royal Family have celebrated the christening of Princess Christina’s granddaughter Désirée at the Royal Chapel in Stockholm. Désirée Magnuson is the daughter of Gustaf Magnuson and his wife Vicky. Wedding of King Carl Gustaf’s Nephew

King Carl Gustaf’s nephew and godson, Gustaf Magnuson, has married his fiancée, Swedish model Vicky Andrén. The wedding took place at the Ulriksdal Palace Chapel on Saturday August 31st. The eldest son of Princess Christina and Tord Magnuson was born in 1975.
