As every year Crown Princess Victoria celebrated her birthday, the “Victoria Day”, at the Solliden Palace in Borghol. Her parents, King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia, and her fiancé Daniel Westling were also in attendance. This year’s celebrations were different compared to the usual ones. Yesterday, February 26, Sweden’s two Carls – King Carl XVI Gustaf and Prince Carl Philip – had a joint engagement. The father and son duo attended the inauguration of the agriculture and gardening conference at the University of Agricultural Studies in the Swedish village of Alnarp. Prince Carl Philip is currently studying at Alnarp University.
