All passengers on a Scandinavian Airlines System flight from Copenhagen Airport to Chicago, which also carried Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, were evacuated yesterday as a passenger remarked that he had a bomb in his backpack. The person was removed immediately, followed by the evacuation of all the aircraft’s 943 occupants. The plane was then thoroughly searched by the bomb squad before passengers were allowed to return.
