German President Visits Spain
The President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Horst Köhler and his wife Eva Luise Köhler, recently went on an official visit to Spain on the occasion of the celebration of the 5th Hispanic – German Forum which was organised by the Official Credit Institute.
The first day of the visit, March 12th, was spent with King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia and The Prince and Princess of Asturias where the Spanish Royal Family hosted a welcome dinner, at Zarzuela Palace, in honour of the German President and his wife.
On Friday, March 13th, Mr. and Mrs. Köhler will visit the exhibition “Between Gods and Men: Classic sculptures of Albertinum of Dresden and of Prado Museum” where they will be accompanied by Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia. The Exhibition, officially inaugurated by King Juan Carlos on November 2008, shows one of the best historical collections of classic sculptures in Europe.
Later in the day his Majesty King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, will join German Firts couple, to attend the closing ceremony of the 5th Hispanic – German Forum.
