Haakon and Mette-Marit meet Bill and Melinda Gates

June 3rd 2009: Microsoft chairman Bill Gates and Melinda Gates were received by the Norwegian Crown Prince Haakon and his wife Crown Princess Mette-Marit at the Royal Palace in Oslo on Wednesday.

Bill Gates and his wife were in Norway to attend a conferance about international poverty, and how the financial crisis hits the poorest people in the world. The conference took place in the Opera House in Oslo. There they were welcomed by Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and his wife Ingrid Schulerud.

Bill Gates and the Crown Princely couple met before in 2006 during an AIDS conference in Toronto.
