Love the color and jacket...the skirt is beyond words. Big miss for me...first one I've seen this bad in awhile.

The jacket would look great with a matching knee length (or an inch shorter) pencil skirt. But this skirt is a miss. Also not crazy about the styling.

The color great. But Kate looks good in red a lot.
The jacket is nice. But doesn't go well with the skirt. I agree it would look good with a pencil skirt. But then it would look very much like her other red suit.
The skirt is a total miss. Not only doesn't match style of coat but it looks like for a teen. I also find the length way too short for an official event, especially one fir a kid event.
And I hate the boots.

In general, people really hated this suit set the first time she wore it. Confirming that Kate is not reading/caring about what we think on TRF.

I think she had lightened up the eye liner just a bit. I can't date it, but just think it looks lighter than it used to. It's a bit hard to discern for sure as her skin tone is also lighter this year, sans winter holidays.
And I welcome the change if there was one.

I like this...color is great, nice style of dress for her, earrings are great, hair and makeup are well done. Love the shoes!

Same here. The raccoon look was not good at all.
She looks amazing in that blue suit.

Is this a new Rebecca Taylor suit or her old blue one modified?

I think it's the old blue one ...if not it sure does look almost identical to it.

Its a new suit. Slightly different color and the cut is different.

The new suit reminds me of her previous blue suit and the Missoni coat, nothing new.
The color suits her well but I'm not liking the fringes on the skirt. The dark blue pumps look good with the outfit and the half up hair-do looks great on her.

It is a new one, though very similar to the old one. Begs the question as to why the old one was not usedagain and a new one was required.

for the same reason that anyone buys a new outfit that is similar to an old one.
I almost love this one. But I hate that hem line or whatever you want to call it that's above the bottom hem line. I really can't stand that kind of styling. It makes no sense to me. But Otherwise, I quite like this suit.

I much preferred the old version, it was a favourite daytime working suit of mine on Kate. Seems bit much to get a second one same colour with a slight different design. If going for a second suit a new colour would have been better.

The blue look is stunning. Great color and design. This is one of her best looks.

Thank you duke for posting a picture of the old suit. That one was too short and didn't fit well at all. This one is a better color, lighter blue and love the fringes
