Colourful and neat but not crazy about the hat.

The hat is nice, but the color does not go with the outfit.

I wish not only Royals but other people who are photographed or on camera, would either have someone else try on the combination of clothing then snap a picture or do a short video. They would “see” the end result, wrong colors, ‘see through’ clothes, clothes too tight etc. A. few extra minutes would make a huge difference. (Letting someone else, like an assistant try on the clothes saves time for people such as the Royals, after all Queen Elizabeth has someone ‘break in her new shoes’, so she already started the idea.)

And its been quite cool for Spring in Northern Europe so it was probably necessary.

Queen Maxima’s top, is short sleeved. The cape like coat was much needed as the weather has been cool, cold, warm. Just really strange weather patterns. I like the color on her and the outfit is just right for the event. (Yesterday it was 80’s and very humid, with some people putting on air constioning and today it finally reached high 30’s with snow flurries. It has been like that in many areas of the World).
