I didn't like Letizia's skirt and blouse by Victoria Beckham. Agreed that its print looks awful and too busy. However, today's black and red outfit looks very pretty. Love the colors and print.

Today's outfit looked all a bit mismatched nice as separate pieces but they do not work together.

Red & black combo is good, but that cape really doesn't go with anything else...

It must have turned cooler in Madrid given the jacket, not a bad look on queen Letizia.

ugh, those plastic shoes again. while the polka dot dress is very nice it's totally underdressed for a welcome ceremony of a State Visit. A garden party would be the better event.
The other dress is nice too but espandrilles, seriously???

Yes the plastic shoes again:sad: why?? and i agree she looks underdressed and the open hairstyle and less jewels dont help imo.. i also agree i dont like the dress with the espandrilles but its seems to be a casual event and i guess its not easy walking in high heels at the street..

Underwhelmed ,not what I'd expect from a queen on a State Visit and Letizia packed her very worst shoes!

I like all the outfits apart from her arrival dress. Her polka dot dress on day 1 is probably my favourite - minus those weird shoes!

I don't like the arrival dress. The polka dot dress is pretty but I am not sure about the cut at the shoulders. It seems a bit bare for an official arrival on a state visit. The white dress is lovely and my favorite of the three.

The less said about her shoes the better. The espadrilles are ugly but after looking at the cobblestone streets I guess they are practical but I think flats would have been better. I wonder if there is any chance of it being hot enough in Cuba to melt the plastic shoes? :D Probably the wrong time of year!

Perfectly dressed for a tropical country, hot and humid, all year around. The Communist country is not a place to dress up. The King and Queen were summoned to go by the Socialist Party and... they were not allow to visit the dissidents. This is a trip for the celebration of the 500 years of the foundation of Havana, Cuba’s capital.

:previous: Agreed. I went to school there in the 'winter' and early spring, and yes hot and humid most of the time.

I think she found a lovely balance of professional while still not too hot.

I really like the polk a dot dress. :flowers:

The white is simple and lovely as well.

The departure and arrival looks aren't fantastic but I didn't mind either.

Whilst the wardrobe are mostly all repeats and perfectly fine for other events I felt that Letizia missed the mark as she was on a State Visit and not any old audience at gloomy Zarzuela.

I like the pale blue/aqua (not sure of the color) dress. I just wish it didn't have that loop on the left side by the arm hole. It kind of looks like one of those loops that are to help keep a dress on a hanger. It's just odd.

Such a beautiful shade of blue for Letizia! I hope she repeats this dress for an event in Spain next summer (or abroad).

It's a lovely dress but like the blue dress it is so far out of Letizia's style as to make her almost unrecognizable.

A very nice day time look on queen Letizia, one of the highlights from a very hit and miss State Visit wardrobe.

Letizia looks very pretty and I agree that it's one of her best looks from this state visit so far.
