Hmm, I would have to agree with you. Mary doesn't have a really defined "waist" and these little same colour and fabric inserts around the waist, on what is essentially an A-Line dress, merely accentuate the problem. T
The totally unadorned dress is so stark as to resemble the dreaded summer school uniform and believe me, that is not a good thing. That's why for me, colour notwithstanding, this dress is a big miss.

Agreed.
The first dress for day one was beautiful . Love the lace
A cute detail with the Asian inspired second dress with the cherry blossom trees.
This third blue, simple but elegant .
The knockout was the burg one she wore on the third day at night

Love the blue dress, but I would call it periwinkle blue, it veers toward lavender. She looks great with the boat neck and 3/4 length sleeves. Love the earrings.
Cherry blossom dress is fine and nice nod to visit.
Her hair is looking a little orange to me, especially in some pictures with the burgundy dress.

With regard to the "cherry blossom" dress, this is photographic print I think. It's a clever way to make a pattern and the additional lace at the waist works well.

Excluding the first outfit, her looks during the Japanese visit were faultless and exquisite. My favorite was the purple dress then the pink dress.

Any idea of the designers of the burgundy and the pale blue dresses? They are simply perfect.

Reports have mentioned the designer of the pale blue dress was designer Jesper Hovring. It was a custom dress made for the event/trip.
No idea yet by which designer is the burgundy dress by.

Mary looked every inch a crown princess today. The dress is beautiful and the coat is a great match. Her overall was very well thought of.

Mary is one stunning Crown Princess! Dressed to perfection in that outfit. Hair and makeup lovely, as well... Of course her best accessory is Frederik. :)

The coat and dress are perfection indeed, and love the sidebun.
This is a 10 out of 10 for me, lovely.

I agree, another 10/10 today for Mary. I love her outfit, hat & hairstyle. I am repeating myself but Mary looks best in such classic, 'regal' looks.

I was thinking exactly the same thing - Mary looks gorgeous and I am sure she has bumped up her wardrobe a notch or two in recent times swell as her accessories.
