Confirmation of Count Henrik
Denmark’s Count Henrik, today, Thursday May 18, celebrated his confirmation during a private ceremony held at the Frederikskirken, the Danish Church in Paris.
Bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen, Royal Confessor, presided the Confirmation ceremony assisted by Frederikskirken’s priest, Malene Bendtsen.
The Count was accompanied by his parents, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, and his siblings, Prince Nikolai, Prince Felix and Princess Athena.
Count Henrik’s uncle and aunt, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, and his cousins, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent were among the present.
Queen Margrethe wasn’t present because she is still recovering from the back surgery.
