Dutch, Greek and a Bea, Oh My: Society Wedding Hosts Royal Guests
A Greek shipping heir married his long-time fashion designer love in London today, and the wedding ceremony at the Orthodox Cathedral of St. Sophia saw several royals in attendance.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands (wearing the same coral Elie Saab dress Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria wore to her nephew’s christening last year) made the trip with their three daughters. The younger two, Princess Alexia and Princess Ariane, were flower girls, while Prince Aristides-Stavros of Greece was one of the pageboys.
From the Greek Royal Family, guests included King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie, Crown Prince and Princess Pavlos, and Princess Maria Olympia. Princess Beatrice of York, repeating a cream and black patterned Burberry coat, was also there.
