Frederik and Mary Visit Danish – And Aussie – Athletes In Olympic Village

Denmark’s Crown Prince and Princess continued their rounds of meeting Danish athletes at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games today, stopping at the Olympic Village.

Here they spent time chatting and posing for photos with various Danish athletes, who appreciated the support of their royals. Frederik and Mary also joined in a quick bike ride with the Danes including wrestler Mark O. Madsen and

The couple also made time to stop at the Australian section of the village to see some of the athletes from Mary’s country of birth.

Both Frederik and Mary were wearing Danish team shirts, which made them stand out in the sea of green and gold when they posed for a group photo with Australian athletes, including some of the women’s basketball team and track cyclists. Mary even posed with the team’s kangaroo mascot.
