I might be wrong but i think she wore the full Poppies during an incoming state visit from Germany 1989. Well, better to see them during the state visit as her golden jubilee next wear.. But my guess would be the Baden Palmette

the pic On the left could be the German state visit 1989 http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yzUicapro...tLY1FY/s1600/MargretheGoldenPoppiesTiara2.jpg- Edit the sash looks different, maybe just bigger ?

Oh dear! Those poppies really do need to go to a Danish design museum.

That's from 1980 state visit from Romania (in the full picture Margrethe sat between Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife: https://bijouxroyauxenfoliewordpres...queen-margrethe-iis-golden-poppies-tiara/amp/)

And somehow I am thinking it would be the Golden Poppies as well (I hope I am wrong:D).

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia will pay a State Visit to Sweden on 24 and 25 November.

The last Spanish State Visit to Sweden took place in 1979 and the last Swedish State Visit to Spain took place in 1983...

For the State Dinner at the Royal Palace i suppose we will most likely talk big things.... The question is how big things...

Queen Silvia haven’t worn the Braganza Tiara since Victoria’s wedding in 2010... And considering how heavy it is, i wonder if she will ever wear it again..... She choosed the Leuchtenberg Sapphire’s during the last Spanish State Visit in 1979....

Queen Letizia have never been afraid to wear the Fleur de Lys Tiara, so i wouldn’t be surprised if she will do it again.... Queen Maria Cristina’s Cartier Loop Tiara is also an option....

Sorry, i missed that this has been mentioned already...

Though i don’t know how to delete this post...

I think Letizia will wear the Cartier Fleur de Lys,, but I wish she wore instead the Cartier Loop, which is her nicest tiara in my opinion.

I concur that Queen Silvia will wear the Leuchtenberg sapphire parure, which is her normal choice when hosting visiting monarchs. The Braganza tiara could be an alternative, but maybe too much especially if it is a scaled-down dinner because of Covid.

I don’t think Victoria has a Spanish order yet, but she might get the order of Carlos III as a Crown Princess. In that case, the Aquamarine tiara would go well with the sash.

Victoria will most likely recive the Order of Carlos III... As will Silvia, who only has the Order of Isabella the Catholic, since 1979. She wore it in Madrid in 1983 too, so i don’t think recived Carlos III there...

I expect Daniel, Carl Philip, Sofia and Madeleine (if she attends) to recive the Order of Isabella the Catholic.

Dunno wether Princess Christina attends considering she is in high risk group regarding Covid-19 (78 years old, treated for breat cancer, treated for leukemia and has made a stem cell transplantation)

It would be nice to see the Loop Tiara withe joyas pearl brooch and maybe debut la peregrina. As much i like the joyas earrings and bracelet I´m a bit bored and would like to see something different.
I also would like to see the pink Topaz necklace.. It would be nice to see Silvia's complete look of Victoria's Wedding 2010, Somehow she has not worn any wedding look of her children.

I revised my predictions for the Dutch state visit to Norway this month:

Maxima: Württemberg Ornate Pearl Tiara
Sonja: Empress Josephine's Emerald tiara
Mette Marit: Diamond Daisy tiara
Astrid: Vasa tiara

I'd like to see queen Letizia wearing Queen Ena’s Pearl and Diamond Tiara in Sweden though big tiaras don't seem to see Letizia.

The Württemberg is a good guess. I would like to see it in complete setting but I am not sure how it will look:

Máxima

Wilhelmina

The Wurttemberg pearls are certainly a possibility, but I think we will see the Stuart diamond tiara (without the Stuart diamond) and possibly, the house diamond necklace with it. Lets see.

I'd much prefer to see the Stuart Diamond Tiara personally but minus the Stuart diamond ;)

According to the Norway website we can expect Martha Louise for the Gala Dinner but Astrid is not mentioned. So my new guess

Sonja: Emerald Parure

Maxima: Stuart (Luxembourg Setting)

Mette -Marit Queen Maud Small Pearl Setting (unlikely, I know)

Martha Louise -Amethyst ( i know very unlikely)

I prefer the "Stuart diadem" to remain in the cassette. It should be worn once for very special occasions so now and then, in my personal view. The combination of the Diamond Bandeau with the rectangular thickstone diamonds collier ("Stuart collier") would be spectacular too, she has worn it once.

I agree. The Luxembourg version was the best, IMO.

For Sonja, the emeralds are a strong contender, but I would be delighted to see her wear the Josephine all diamond tiara (worn last week), and the large diamond earrings from Queen Maud.

But she was worn the diamopnd tiara only 2 weeks ago.
If Máxinma wears the Stuart tiara i would like to see the full tiara so that we get better pics from it.

But i would be happy with one of the full ruby parures too.

Extending that "logic" (allow me the artistic license to refer to it as such!), it is probably at the front of the vault, and has recently been cleaned!

I am not expecting the Stuart tonight either. If we do get to see it I would like to see it in any version but with the necklace - not a very likely thing of course.

Like others I am expecting the Württemberg, which was not seen for a while and which is one of the few tiaras that IMHO never made a remarkable impression while being worn by Máxima (yet) and worked better on Beatrix. I am hoping to see it in combination with the Russian devant corsage and Amalia's pearls, which have not been worn often by the Queen.

Another option is Mellerio's ruby tiara, carat wise it is more impressive than the Württemberg, but a bit small for another monarchy perhaps. If so I am hoping for the full parure, which again is not likely as HM has never worn one.

As for the Norwegian ladies: the daisies for MM (hoping for the vifte) and her own tiara for ML. Queen Sonja... perhaps the large version of Queen Mauds pearl tiara.

Queen Máxima still some not-worn diadems in the cassettes: the Ears of Wheat and the Bandeau á la grèque come to mind.

A bit small for a royal-royal State Visit as Queen. I have my doubts she ever wearr them and i'm not sorry ab out the Ears of Wheat tiara as i dislike it's design. There are much better Ears-of-Wheat tiaras around.-

Queen Beatrix had no problem in wearing her smallest diadem for a visit to a glittering Court: https://cdn.nos.nl/image/2015/03/17/141477/16.jpg

Wasn't the story here that Queen Margrethe had remarked how she liked the 'blue stone(s)'. And that Queen Beatrix misunderstood which blue stones were meant & wore the aquamarines. Over the years I have read various versions of the story and sometimes it was said that Margrethe referred to the Sapphire parure while I have also read that the Stuart was meant. Some noted that Queen Máxima wore the sapphires for the Danish state visit for that reason.

The ears -of-Wheat possible (as hair clips) for the second day imo.

My idea is that Queen Beatrix simply thought the sparkling aquamarines were a perfect combination with the Order of the Elephant (which in ideed is and was).

I have once seen a twitter clip of Princess Laurentien entering the Burgerzaal of the Royal Palace Amsterdam, wearing the aquamarines, in the light of chandeliers and candelabras. It really genereated a fiery sparkle. The aquamarines are poor on photographs but most likely fabulous in real life.

I think Maxima and Beatrix are quite different people in how they approach the use of jewellery. I really would not expect Maxima to wear a relatively small tiara for a state visit to a monarchy. She tends to wear smaller tiaras to state (or official) visits to republics, and sometimes to private celebrations (birthdays etc) hosted by other royals that are white-tie events.

If Max has not worn these tiaras in all these years, I cannot see her start to use them now. Perhpas they have been kept in reserve for Catherine-Amalia to wear.
I think the Laurel Wreath was Beatrix´s 18th birthday Tiara, so it seems to be likely next worn on Amalia. Im still surprised Maxima has never worn it in public..

It seems Grand Duchess Maria Teresa had the same thought as she wore the quiet small aquamarine bandeau for both the State Visit to Denmark as the Wedding of CP Frederik. However in Sweden she opted for different tiaras but then the aquamarines would have been an even better match with the Order of the Seraphim.
