Prince Pieter-Christiaan Completes The Frankfurt Marathon

Dutch Prince Pieter-Christiaan on Sunday participated in the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon, completing the 42km course in a time of 3hrs, 17 minutes and 49 seconds.

The 45-year-old Prince came 298th in his age group with that time, and 2,163rd overall. Pieter-Christiaan ran the marathon with the ASICS Team. He shared several photos of his day on his Twitter page, including photos with the athletes who won the male (Shura Kitata Tola from Ethiopia) and female (Kenyan Vivian Jepkemoi Cheruiyot, who won gold at the Rio Olympic Games in the 5,000m) divisions of the marathon.

He later posted on his Twitter that he made “no PB at @ffm_marathon but gave it all with fast start and many happy thoughts”.
