The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn in Scotland, made their first official visit to Dundee, Scotland today. The purpose of their visit was to highlight mental health issues affecting young people.

The couple met with young people dealing with mental health challenges. They also visited The Corner and participated in an anti-bullying workshop and held a private meeting with Scotland’s youth mental health sector. During the visit, they stopped by the Captain Scott’s tall ship ‘The Discovery’ where The Duchess took to the sail wheel. The Duke and Duchess also stopped by the Dundee Rep Theatre, they met with families participating in one of the theatre’s programs.

The Duchess arrived wearing a bespoke blue coat and matching skirt by Scottish designer Christopher Kane. She matched the look with a black turtleneck top, a black clutch and boots from Russell & Bromley. Prince William co-ordinated his navy suit and a blue shirt with his wife’s outfit.

My husband and I visited Scotland 2 years ago
this past summer and we just loved it.
We visited Glasgow and Edinburgh and had the
best time. I look forward to the time
when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge come
to the Washington, DC area on a visit.
I hope that will be very soon.
