They will do it again, this time in the Netherlands:
Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands and Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway will open the exhibition Munch : Van Gogh in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, on the afternoon of Wednesday 23 September.

Today, September 8, Environmental agents Emma Louise Årvik, Elida Haltbrekken Tveitdal and Theo Toft had an audience with King Harald. The King is the patron of this year's telethon to raise money for the Rainforest Foundation. The three environmental agents have visited the village Mpenzele in the middle of the rainforest in the Congo to experience up close how children live there. With funds from the telethon the Rainforest Foundation wants to save the rainforest in five countries.

Her Majesty The Queen attends the Requiem Mass in the RC Church of St Olav for the victims of the terrorist massacre in Paris .

King Harald was present when Ann-Helen Fjeldstad Jusnes was consecrated as bishop in South Hålogaland
King Harald has been at the skiing World Cup in Kvaløysletta inTromsø this weekend. He handed out several Cups including one to Norwegian Petter Northug for the victory in the 30 km Skiathlon.

The Norwegian painter Nikolai Astrup is being introduced to a UK audience. Her Majesty The Queen undertook the official opening of the exhibition “Nikolai Astrup: Painting Norway” this evening in London.
