The necklace is the best part of the set. No so crazy about the tiara part.

The ring she wore doesn't match the ring in the auction.

Her necklace has actually been modified. In between the teardrops, the auction photo shows 3 marquise stones arranged in a triangle. Princess Mary added another turquoise to the bottom marquise stone so there is another bead dangling. I wonder if she used the stones from the matching ring in auction to use on the necklace and then re-designed the ring. The reason I say stones from the ring could have been used so that the color matches. Perhaps if we see her wearing the earrings, then we'll know she also got Lot 32.

The size of the centre stones in each pendant is also different (Mary's are smaller) and the gold circle thicker.

I feel like this is not the same necklace (although very very similar in style). There is no need to make so many alterations imo.
 
That is one magnificent piece of jewelry, I love amethyst and this is gorgeous with diamonds and set in white gold. Would love to know the history and if it was an antique....just beautiful!
 
I am not sure if this has been shared earlier, but links to a Bruun Rasmussen catalogue show the diamond earrings that Mary wore in Oslo earlier this year. See item 545 on the catalogue

I’m actually a bit disappointed that we didn’t see her wedding tiara or the midnight this year. However, I definitely understand wanting to wear your new tiara after years of only two.
 
I'm just after noticing the jewels on the back of Mary's hair are they part of the set ?
 
I have the idea the Court Jeweller has modified the diadem. It is somewhat more pointy in the middle and it looks like the space between the leaves has been a bit increased, resulting in a higher diadem. But it can be optical illusion by the angle of cameras. Princess Mary looked spectacular tonight, as did Prince Frederik, in his martial uniform.
