I'd really to to see this worn as a tiara as I don't like it worn as a necklace.

I tend to agree, although I think the last occasion when Caroline wore it without a tiara, the necklace looked quite splendid.

The Princess of Hanover has the best jewels in Monaco and thankfully also wears the historic family jewels.

These originally belonged to her paternal grandmother,Princess Charlotte and have been mainly worn by Caroline since her death.
