King Philippe and Queen Mathilde Meet With Medical Staff In Wake of Terrorist Attacks

The Belgian King and Queen this morning visit the Erasmus Hospital in Anderlecht, where they were given a briefing by medical staff on the conditions and injuries suffered by victims of yesterday’s horrific terrorist attack in the Belgian capital, which killed over 30 people. Yesterday, Wednesday February 25, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde paid an official visit to the European Institutions. The first stop was at the European Parliament were the Royal Couple was welcomed by the chairman of the Parliament, Martin Schulz. Princess Laurentien Opens Taalhuis

Princess Laurentien today opened the Taalhuis at the Central Library in The Hague. The opening of the Taalhuis – Language House – took place on International Literacy Day, which also marks the beginning of literacy week in the Netherlands. Chinese State Visit to Belgium

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Mrs Peng Liyuan, started a three day state visit to Belgium on March 30. Guillaume attends Concert with Belgian Royals

The Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg was in Belgium earlier this week, where he attended a concert at the Palais des Beaux-Arts. The concert on January 17th was a joint performance by the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
