Pahlavi Family Celebrates the Nowrouz
The Pahlavi Family has celebrated the Nowouz, the New Persian Year, in the United States.
The former Empress of Iran, Farah Pahlavi, has been accompanied by her eldest son, Prince Reza, her daughter, Princess Farahnaz, her daughter-in-law, Princess Yasmine, and her granddaughters, Princess Iman, Princess Farah and Princess Iryana Leila.
All the family celebrated this special festivity at Empress’s home. The Imperial family posed, as each year, in front of Haft-Sin Table on March 21. This year Princess Noor, who is finishing her studies, didn’t attend.
The celebrations for the New Year finished yesterday with the Sizdah Bedar, “the Thirteenth day out of doors”. As is tradition, the Empress Farah and her family celebrate it spending time picnicking outdoors.
