Belgian Introductory Visit To The Netherlands

On Friday November 8th, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium made an introductory visit to King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde were received by the King and the Queen of the Netherlands at the Noordeinde Palace. The King and Queen of Belgium were accompanied by the Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo and the Foreign Minister Didier Reynders. After an audience at the Royal Palace, a lunch was helf in their honour. Princess Beatrix was present at the lunch. 

After the lunch, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited the Dutch Parliament, where they were welcomed by the President of the Senate, Ankie Broekers-Knol, and the President of the House, Anouchka Miltenburg. The introductory visit ended after a meeting with the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. 

Queen Mathilde worn a dark fuchsia dress from the fashion brand Natan and a matching hat of Fabienne Delvigne. Queen Maxima worn a blue dress with a bow on the shoulder from the designer Jan Taminiau.
