Dutch Introductory Visit to Sweden

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands paid a one-day introductory visit to the Kingdom of Sweden yesterday.
The Dutch King and Queen were warmly received at the Royal Palace in Stockholm by King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia. Also present in the official royal line up were Crown Princess Victoria with her husband Prince Daniel and her younger brother, Prince Carl Philip.
Following a luncheon hosted by the Swedish King and Queen, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima went onto visit the Riksdag, which houses the Swedish Parliament. They met with the Swedish Prime Minister and this final act concluded the Dutch introductory visit to Sweden.
