Prince William Accused of Not Doing Enough
A Channel 4 documentary says the second in line to the throne is “doing almost nothing” in terms of royal engagements.
The program, The Problem Princes – which airs Monday, February 23rd, takes a look at the British princes William and Harry, and how they spend their time and money.
The documentary said in 2007, Prince William did only 14 engagements, which were mostly football and rugby matches appearances.
Comparing that to his father, Charles, Prince of Wales, when he was the same age, he did 84 duties in one year.
St. James’ Palace released a statement, saying the show is “unbalanced and one-sided” and pointed out that the Prince has been a full-time officer since 2005.
