Agree. Up to now Louise does not show any fashion character. Her choices are always for older ages and non attractive, shapes and colors are blah. It does now look to be her mother's influence, because her mother is by far better dressed. I hope she won't become a second Princess Anne fashionwise.
I love Charlotte's green coat.

I think Louise's coat is too big for her, or just ill fitted. I dislike the look because of that. Somehow, most of her dress coats and dresses are ill fitted or unattractive. But, I do like her outdoor/regular wear outfits.

Louise looks like she's wearing one of Princess Anne's old hand-me-downs - she is a very pretty young lady and when she's styled she can look lovely; take the Christmas lunch for example. Her hair looked like it had been straightened, and her fringe pushed to the side, and she looked lovely and more her age (I often think the clothes she wears makes her seem younger than she actually is - if you look at children of aristocrats who are her age or around, they aren't dressed in such an old fashioned way - still smart, but in a way that is trendy for their age - Margarita Armstrong-Jones is normally a good example of this [but I thought her outfit this year was quite old-fashioned too]).

Charlotte's green coat is beautiful - Amaia Kids have lovely clothes, and Charlotte's coat here is no exception. George and James were very smart too.

I love Estelle's Christmas jumper - super cute!

This is a much better look for Louise today, too. I wish she'd worn this on Christmas Day.

I read somewhere that the coat Louise was wearing on Christmas day was one of Sophie's also. Don't remember where I read it though.

For once I love their outfits. Suitable for a summer day, I suppose it is hot there.
I love also that the girls dresses are coordinated with the central cake piece and also their mum's outfit.
Was it a special celebration for the family?

Maria Chiara's birthday. She is 15 now.

The dresses look like paper doll dresses. So stuff and fake. Look like the dresses made on project runway when they have a dollar store or such challenge.

Matching outfits on kids over 8 loses cuteness. Matching the case to boot.

They really don’t match to me. It’s not the exact same outfit. Same style. And the colors coordinate. But not the same.

Why are the young girls and their mother ALWAYS posed and styled as if they are doing a fashion shoot? The father is a virtual non- entity...literally and figuratively.

There is never any warmth or naturalness at all.(in photos)

I just don't understand this family. :ermm:

The dresses are similar but not matching. They are an instagram family.

These outfits are much too short on the Castro girls and look more like old fashioned doll's dresses rather than dresses for teenage girls in 2020.

Leonor looks great. Cute casual look, age appropriate.

Fun, the twins and Isabella are wearing the same snowboots.
Christians boot are similar, but without the white fur.

I suspect that they children are wearing their new school uniforms (grey pants/skirts, blue jackets)?

They are. Fredrik said something about them showing off their uniforms when he and Mary took a few steps back to allow the photographers to take photos of just the kids.

Ah, that explains it.

The kids are all wearing Canadian snow boots from a company called Sorel. I have a pair myself

:previous: I think most of Louise's casual clothes such as this are more "normal" for her age and that her more old-fashioned clothes are formal wear for public events - same with George and Charlotte. We have seen Louise in similar style regular clothes before e.g:
