Yes, you are right! The abbreviation stands for European route

- although some of them even lead to Asia Minor and Central Asia..

Today Queen Sonja opened the new scientist building at the Norwegian
cancer hospital Radiumhospitalet (Norwegian Radium Hospital) in Oslo.

King Harald met today with United Nation Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, in the Royal Palace. After their meeting took place a lunch, that also was attended by The Queen and the Crown Prince Couple.
Ban arrived in Norway late Sunday for a three days official visit

Sami Parliament officially opened

TheKing today formally opened the 6th Sameting.
King Harald read the opening speech during the ceremony, which also Her Majesty the Queen was present.

President Egil Olli welcomed the wrong King.

During his welcome speech he said:
"On behalf of the Saami Parliament, I welcome His Majesty King Olav 5th and Her Majesty Dronning Sonja."
