Yes, you are right! The abbreviation stands for European route :)
- although some of them even lead to Asia Minor and Central Asia..

Today Queen Sonja opened the new scientist building at the Norwegian
cancer hospital Radiumhospitalet (Norwegian Radium Hospital) in Oslo.

When is the Norwegian Parliament opened by Their Majesties ?
 
Sami Parliament officially opened

TheKing today formally opened the 6th Sameting.
King Harald read the opening speech during the ceremony, which also Her Majesty the Queen was present.

President Egil Olli welcomed the wrong King. :D
During his welcome speech he said:
"On behalf of the Saami Parliament, I welcome His Majesty King Olav 5th and Her Majesty Dronning Sonja." :D
