Queen Mathilde outfit was IMO a great choice for today´s events. I think the elegant simplicity of the outfit matches the character of the inauguration, not fancy at all.
I only wish she had chosen some brighter colours, but she looks lovely anyway. The hat is very nice.

IMO Mathilde looked very elegant and regal in her Natan dress and Fabienne Delvigne hat.
I think white suits her well and I liked her cream gloves.
She's very graceful.

I don´t like to say this buth Mathilde could have done better today.
This evening she´s wearing a red/pink dress which looks familiar to me...

Very appropriate and looking very Maxima ish IMO. I would have loved to see her wow us but I realize its just not the day for that. Love those pearl earrings and its looks like shes wearing a new diamond bracelet?

Absolutely love this look! The dress is a great style, classic and elegant. The hat and the gloves are also lovely. Mathilde looked perfect!

Utterly ridiculous I agree. To me Mathilde had always been the epitome of sophistication. Refined, restrained, elegant, but utterly appropriate in every way. My only reservation is that perhaps she is a little unadventurous . . . but then, look at that lovely white dress with it's gorgeous neckline and amazing back view!

I think the Daily Fail inadvertently switched the names and the feeling. " It was a look that must have made the Duchess of Cambridge green with envy!," would be more like it.

Today Mathilde received children from the children's TV channel Ketnet the Royal Palace in Brussels.
She was wearing a light summerdress that I think I've seen before: pictures

I think she looked very elegant on Sunday. I liked the headpiece more than the dress actually, but it was still a great outfit.

The coat is from Natan
The hat she wore before on a state visit from Norway in 2003. She added a black band.

Since she is Queen her clothes are longer which is much better.
Fabienne Delvigne's hat flew away 3 times !
