She has been on point lately with her fashion choices. Mauny doubted if she could step up as Queen on the fashion front but i think she has been doing a fab job and reminds me of her early days as a royal

This is an amazing dress. The color is fabulous and the texture and fit is great. I find this a bit too much but then she is a Queen and I would always prefer if she is slightly over dressed than under dressed.

Are we sure the earrings are of different colouring? Is it not just a visual effect? It just looks...odd.

I think that the red dress is just right for today's occasion. Not too glam. It is too glam only if you think that red is glam. It is a nice shift dress, just that. Her hairdo was interesting and she held a great speech. The day was a success for her.

Her right earring is picking up the blue hue from the presentation colours behind her. Her earrings look gorgeous too!

The texture of the red dress is perfect for someone so slender as that type of weave always adds the pounds. Reason why most women really have to watch wearing this type of fabric. Hope to see more of her experimenting with color, fabrics and jewelry.

Letizia herself looks wonderful and that particular shade of red is stunning on her. Her hair, shoes and clutch are also great; but I'm not a fan of the material/texture of the dress as it's not really my cup of tea. It reminds me too much of a carpet or an old rug - I'm sure most will disagree with me here, but that's just how I feel. I'm also not so keen on the section of different material, it looks a little awkward.

Agree that texture is her friend and she looks great in it. Don't think the dress is too glam at all, looks very business like to me, could have used a small necklace. Love the red shoes

I don't know that I like the texture but Letizia looks great! Great cut, color, hair and accessories

I agree that the sections of different fabric looks odd. I also think that Letizia looks a bit too glam for the occasion. But that being said, red is wonderful on her and this dress will be perfect for a dressy affair.

I guess everyone has a different idea of dressy, which is why I love the different opinions on this subject. To me, this is not dressy but more business or church going. Dressy is more refined and elegant. This type is worn to a proper business meeting of high CEOs, government gatherings, morning christening or to a nice restaurant with hubby. Dressy is for evening weddings, elaborate dinner parties or formal social dances of which you would never wear this dress. JMOO

Letizia looks simply great in today's outfit, I like the blouse and jacket combination very much.
The jacket and blouse are from Mango, shoes from Carolina Herrera and she recycled the clutch of Tissa Fontaneda she had on the Dia de la Banderita.
De tanto a tan poco…
