The dress looks a tad bunchy around the waist (maybe it was being windblown?) but the color is nice.

Queen Letizia attended the annual meeting of the Cervantes Institute Board of Trustees and had lunch with the Trustees and the Ibero-American Ambassadors today, October 18. Her Hugo Boss skirt is nice, but I dislike the batwing blouse ;)

A nice professional look on queen Letizia today and the colours are lovely.

What a really lovely dress on Queen Letizia.

Very casual but smart and also perfect for an outdoor event in autumn.

I don't normally care for pink but she looks really chic in this (also like the high ponytail!)

Its a really nice colour and look on queen Letizia ,the ponytail is fine for this type of event but it wasn't on National Day.

Really a very lovely look on queen Letizia today.

Queen Letiza looks very nice in the black dress. I can see the same dress in different colors too.

It's pretty easy to picture what she is wearing during this trip: a (white) blouse with a red vest with the organization's logos and some tied trousers.

Even upon arrival she was already wearing this 'uniform' instead of something more queenly.

Letizia has been criticised in Paraguay for wearing the vest instead of the usual expensive queenly clothes.
https://www-europapress-es.translat...r_sl=es&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=de&_x_tr_pto=nui

The vest is kind of a protagonist but why wear it ALL.THE.TIME, even at lunch with dignitaries such as the presidents wife, there are other ways to be discreet if you want to, eg wear a simple outfit from a Paraguayan designer

A deputy has been the one who has raised the controversy. And not only has she said that about the queen, but on the first day she had already despised and insulted her.
Result: the vest is manufactured in Paraguay, from a company in this country expressly commissioned by the royal house for the queen, and in the end, this company has sold a lot of vests equal to the queen's out of solidarity with the queen and against the deputy lady who has made the most horrible ridicule. Even the Paraguayan TV journalists wore that vest to thank the queen. So, in the end, the queen was just another aid worker, with a busy schedule that gave a little more purchasing power to said company and much more visibility to the Spanish International Cooperation Agency.
She goes to work, and she goes as one more aid worker. And so we want our queen.

I like the dress and the colors are gorgeous. But the belt isn't needed.

In recent months, Queen Letizia has given a change to her wardrobe, she is wearing many clothes from small Spanish brands and workshops, with small production, ecological materials and limited productions. For these brands the promotion is incredible.

I thibk it is great to see the Queen suport smaller, artisnal and lfegling brands. I so do wish Camilla and Catherine would do more of the same here.

Letizia has done an excellent job on promoting not only local, but also small brand. This is a real support to the local industry, by giving a shout out to those need an extra push.

Agree with you there but kudos to the queen for supporting local brands and industry and you can imagine the prestige and PR that the queen of Spain is wearing one of your designs.

I very much like this dress but it was unnecessary to add the belt.

I like the dress a lot….and I agree, the belt is not needed. It actually looks like the dress is being pulled down or stretched down. Maybe if the Queen wears the dress again, no belt. If she feels the waist is to big, have it altered so the dress is more form fitting. Sill a pretty dress that many people coils.not wear because of the pattern.
