Princess Marie Attends DEMA Emergency Preparation Day

As part of her affiliation with the Danish Emergency Management Agency, Princess Marie on Saturday attended the Emergency Preparation Day held in Thisted, Northern Jutland. 

During her visit to the Nordjylland Emergency Board where the event was being held, Marie – dressed in her DEMA uniform – was given a tour of the centre and watched several activities demonstrating how they prepare for major disasters or accidents.

The event was an ‘open house’ for the Nordjylland Emergency Board, and the local community was encouraged to visit throughout the day to learn about the DEMA’s work.
