13th July – Victoria and Daniel visited Borgholm, and received two lime trees as wedding gifts. The trees were a gift from Borgholm’s municipality, and they were planted to the Borgholm market square.

23rd July – Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the wedding Prince Rashid and Zina Shaban in Amman.

24th July – Victoria and Daniel attended a memorial service for the victims of the attacks in Norway.

2nd August – Victoria and Daniel attended the international symposium on the Antarctic at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.

18th August – Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden attended the opening of the 39th Nordic Convention of Lawyers.

20th August – Victoria and Daniel attended the wedding of Daniel´s sister Anna and Mikael Söderström at the Concert Hall in Gävle.

22nd August – Prince Daniel of Sweden attended the opening of Rinkeby Academy. The academy building has been rebuilt since being burnt down during youth riots last year.

27th August – Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were in Norway for the 10th anniversary of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit wedding.

31st August – Victoria and Daniel visited Gothenburg for a day with the theme “Good health for all”. The couple got the day as a wedding gift the City of Gothenburg and County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland.

The crown princess couple has a strong commitment to issues concerning young people’s health and alienation. Based on this the theme day has been put together.

The day began with a visit to Gothenburg Botanical Garden and the display of the Green Rehab, operation which works for rehabilitation and prevention of stress. El Sistema-Hammarkullen plays at the Botanical Garden. The orchestra’s goal is to use music as a tool to work for integration and social interaction among children in Angered.

Later in the afternoon, Victoria and Daniel took part in the sailing activities for young people with disabilities.
