The first week of August, coinciding with the regattas of the Copa del Rey de Vela, Felipe VI, Queen Letizia and the infantas Elena and Cristina plan to meet at the Marivent Palace, and they could do so with all their children.

Yes, as Vanitatis has been able to find out exclusively, on the 'royal' agenda it already appears that Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía will meet Victoria and Felipe de Marichalar, and with Juan, Pablo, Miguel and Irene Urdangarin. Everything is in gear, preparing for the big family reunion.

That report is according to Vanitatis and I'd take that with a pinch of salt!

Let's hope they are right. It would be great if the family spent a few days together on Mallorca this summer.

Hopefully its not too hot or uncomfortable in Mallorca at the moment!

Do we know about the rest of the family?
Leonor will start at the acedemy on August 17.
Not sure when Sofia will start her stint at UWC in Wales?

In previous years it was the end of July until early August.

King Felipe has audiences with the authorities of the Balearic Islands on July 27, and Queen Letizia attends the closing gala of the Atlántida Film Festival on the 30th.

JC looks frail but his health can't be that bad if he is still able to actively take part in a regatta.

This Saturday, King Juan Carlos I, aboard the 'Bribón', and the Infanta Elena, in the auxiliary 'Cristina', have arrived at port after almost four hours of navigation during the first day of the regatta that is held in the Pontevedra town of Sanxenxo.

Today, King Juan Carlos I has collected the prize from the regattas in the Pontevedra municipality of Sanxenxo in which the 'Bribón', a boat that he has captained, has reached first position.

Today, the Infanta Elena has gone sailing on the 'Alibabá II', a boat that she won yesterday, while her father, Juan Carlos I, has done so on board the 'Bribón', which on Saturday reached second position.

Just saw it in the news that "El Bribón" won the regatta. How nice for Don JC and his friends!
(and how ironic is the boat's name? )

Today, King Juan Carlos I, and the Infanta Elena have returned to sail, this Monday, through the Pontevedra estuary. This day will serve the ex-monarch as 'training' for the World Championship to be held in the United Kingdom.

King Juan Carlos I, and the Infanta Elena have arrived at the port, minutes after 2:20 p.m., after almost an hour of navigation that the ex-monarch has served as preparation for the World Championship.

This Monday morning, King Felipe VI arrived driving his own car at the Real Club Náutico de Palma to take command of the Sailboat Aifos of the Spanish Navy. Once again, Don Felipe is taking part in the 41st edition of the Copa del Rey Mapfre, which has started in the bay of Mallorca.
