I am sorry but he can’t pulled off a beard in my opinion he need to shave and his Belgian counterpart need to grow one.

It seems they invited the comedian Peter Pannekoek, two D66 parlementary candidates and the winners of the Louis d'Or and the Theo d'Or (theatre prizes) were present as well.

King Willem-Alexander awarded Sadik Harchaoui the Medal of Honor for Progress and Ingenuity in the House Order of Orange today, December 4. Since 2018 Sadik Harchaoui has been 'chef de mission' of the SchuldenlabNL Foundation, Queen Máxima is Honorary Chairwoman of, therefore Queen Máxima was present as well:

This evening, December 6, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima received representatives from international organizations based in the Netherlands for a festive dinner at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam:

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima hosted the traditional New Year's reception for foreign diplomats and representatives of international organizations based in the Netherlands today, January 16:

Akwasi, a rapper, activist and co-founder of the television station ZWART (black), has shared information about his attendence of the new years reception on social media.

He says that his talk with the king blew his mind and after the king expressed advice and support the rapper was so surprised he did not know what to say back. 'It felt bizarre and very special at the same time'. The King supposedly also encouraged Akwasi to continue on his present path.

Mr. Akwasi has been the target of online hate speech and racism recently. After he participated in a quiz show an enormous amount of racist messages appeared on X - formerly twitter- and the American company did not do anything about it. The television station who broadcasts the show has subsequently left the social media platform.

The artist is a polemic figure due to a speech on Dam square during a black lives matter protest in 2020, which could be interperted as inciting violence against the folklore figure of 'black Pete'.

King Willem-Alexander presents the Cross of Honor in the House Order of Orange to Janine van den Ende at Noordeinde Palace. Mrs. Van den Ende receives the Royal Award for her efforts for the More Music in the Classroom Foundation.
Queen Maxima was also present.

Normally, it is her husband Joop van den Ende (one of the most successful tv and theatre producers in the Netherlands) who is the center of attention, so it's nice that it is the other way around for a change.

Joop van den Ende received the same medal of honor from queen Beatrix (he was decorated in the Order of Orange-Nassau):
2007 Cross of Honour in the Order of the House of Orange
2001 Commander in the Order of Orange-Nassau
1993 Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau

Janine herself was already made Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2014.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima held talks about the situation in Gaza and Israel today, February 29.

A the official residence of Amsterdam's Mayor they met with "street coaches, police officers, municipal officials and youth workers who are active in various Amsterdam neighborhoods" and "people with a Palestinian, Jewish and Islamic background from Amsterdam about how the current situation in Gaza and Israel affects their daily lives and their interactions with each other":
