Victoria's friend Caroline Kreuger Nilsson celebrates today her 40th birthday. On Caroline's 25th birthday party in 2002 Aftonbladet's photographer got the first photo of Victoria and Daniel together.

Daniel and Victoria are going to inaugurate the Multisports Hall in Ockelbo next week, and because of that Svensk Damtidning reminisces Victoria and Daniel's official visit in Ockelbo in May 2011, when 105 reporters were covering their visit.

Just a thought from another thread, but Victoria and Daniel related. When they married, was there any announcement what Daniel's title would be when (assuming) Victoria takes the throne? Or is there already a precedent in place in Sweden?

The photo has been taken as a new photo to Stockholm Arlanda Airport's gallery and was unveiled today.
"During the day, airport director Peder Grunditz unveiled a whole new portrait of Crown Princess Victoria and her family. The portrait is photographed by Linda Broström and is shown for the first time to the public at our airport in the gallery "Welcome to my hometown" in Terminal 2. Stylish, right?"

The photo has been taken in the summer on the same day as the official photo of Victoria published on her birthday.

- We are of course proud that it is in our gallery in which this official portrait of the Crown Princess, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar is presented first, said Peder Grunditz, Airport Director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
- The idea of "Welcome to my hometown" -gallery is to showcase Stockholm's strengths, which the Crown Princess family is really an example of. It is a very nice portrait and an honor for me to uncover this at Arlanda. The new portrait of the Crown Princess family replaces the former family portrait in the gallery taken before Prince Oscar's birth, and is taken by photographer Linda Broström.

A lovely portrait though I agree with the poster who said in another thread that Daniel looks a little photoshopped - almost like he's been superimposed in the back from another photo. Oscar looks a lot like Daniel here, I think.
 
I think that the photo is very good, especially because taken like this, Daniel looks so protective of his family.
Here is a little information about "Welcome to my hometown" galleries at terminals 2 and 5 at the Arlanda Airport. At the galleries is also a photo of king Carl Gustaf and queen Silvia.

Today, February 24, it is 10 years since the engagement between H.R.H. The Crown Princess and Mr Daniel Westling was announced at the Royal Palace.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Crown Princess and prince Daniel are therefore happy to share this private photo that was taken last year.

I really love Victoria and Daniel. I liked what I saw in Victoria when she was first with him and my opinion hasn't changed. They are still my favourite royal lovers.

On 15h August a group of seniors were walking at Old Haga, they visited among things the Royal Cemetery. And they also saw Victoria, Daniel and Oscar on their walk.

Both Daniel and Oscar really try hard to smile (and succeed in looking a bit overdone); and we haven't seen that serious of an official picture of Estelle I believe. Is this one in advance for her birthday?
 
They really are such a beautiful family and that photo of Estelle by herself shows just how much she's growing up. We've known for years that Victoria and Daniel have tried hard to introduce her to her future role in child-friendly but still very much appropriate ways and that very determined and confident look in her individual portrait tells me that they've done a very good job. I can't wait to watch this family over the next several years.
 
Oh how nice! During Friday, new pictures of the Crown Princess family came.
The Crown Princess in her beautiful side bun, which she now always chooses at official pictures. Prince Daniel handsome, as usual. And two golden kids!
Two new pictures have just been released from the court of Estelle, Oscar, Daniel and Victoria. A cute family with such beautiful chemistry that shines through the camera. Oscar laughs wonderfully and Princess Estelle, dressed in dark blue, has taken back the previously used Estelle bow. And how long hair she has, she has proven to have her mother's dreamy Brazilian hair quality! Moreover, the princess will soon be eight years old, more specifically on February 23. And just a short time later, it is little brother Oscar's turn. On the second of March he will be four years old.
The reason behind the newly taken pictures is no other than that the Crown Princess family's pictures are updated from time to time. Most often they are soon afterwards converted into fine postcards that end up in the Royal Gift Shop. There is a great chance that these are the same way to meet. And of course they are worthy to end up on walls and with beautiful greetings on. The fine crown princess family, in the now very famous engagement couch!

Two new official photos have been taken of Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and the children.
The court uploaded them on Friday evening on its website and Princess Estelle's profile picture was changed. The future regent who will soon be eight years old! The princess has grown big and has got so long and thick hair - just like mom. On February 23, her birthday is celebrated.
Just a few days later, on March 2, Prince Oscar turns four. The little prince, who in the newly taken picture offers a really good laugh.
The photos of the Crown Princess family is taken in a classic blue couch.

A future queen.
Princess Estelle has grown considerably.
Now the court has released new pictures of our future monarch and her fine family.
Soon, Princess Estelle, 7, turns eight and she is still a little girl. But she has already started attending the Queen's School - one day she will take over after Crown Princess Victoria, 42.
And Estelle is actually already beginning to adopt some queen-like traits.
The court has released new pictures of the Crown Princess family and this is a new mature Estelle we see.
Her hair has become thicker, her features have been smoothed and Estelle looks focused and majestic in the pictures. Little brother Prince Oscar, 3, is more like an ordinary bubbly three year old.
And you can't miss the fact that parents are proud of their fine children. Princess Estelle is strikingly similar to her mother, while Prince Oscar has inherited several traits from dad, Prince Daniel, 46.

Something original but nice.
The new image of Crown Princess Victoria's family is very special.
It is very similar to a movie poster.
Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and the children are posing for a fresh image that the court has released.
There is no official explanation for the rosy image reaching the public exactly now, but experts believe it may be that the court wants to help the government calm the people in these nasty corona times.
This nice relaxed way we are used to seeing Victoria with her family.
One thing, however, has been revealed; the picture is meant to be a postcard and they wanted to publish it also already. Maybe they just felt a need to spread some joy in the trying times that we are suffering right now.
The photo is taken in a studio with a pinkish tone with a little retro feel. The contrast between the crown princess family's heads and the background highlights the royals with an almost a little absurd clarity that we usually see in the film director Wes Andersons films.
Maybe Victoria and Daniel have checked out the success movie "Royal Tennenbaums"? Prince Daniel, incidentally, is said to be a very fond fan of the very strange film creation "The Grand Budapest Hotel" - by the same director - that he usually watches at Haga Palace.
The new image will be a bit graphic in character as if it were to adorn a bio poster, but we must assume that the court with its vast experience makes a correct assessment that it is suitable as a postcard.
And maybe Daniel was there with comments and wanted to influence the photographer's artistic creation?
In the picture, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar sit in a small throne-like chair where the princess tenderly hugs her little brother.
