it's nice to hear Morocco would be one of the first Countries to be visited by the ne King and Queen.
they have been in Morocco several time but i think this time is different.
would like to know what the difference between official visit and the Introductory one?

Oh it would've been nice if Leonor went as well to this Introductory visit, after all, if there will be a dinner, Moulay Hassan will be present. How nice if the Princess of Asturias now was present as well. I know it won't happen though, she is way to young and they protect them to much, but one can dream right ?

Yes she is, that is why I have no hope. I just remenbered that Moulay Hassan is the heir and he is also very young, though he attends lots of events, and how it would've been so nice to see two young heirs together.

The visit to Morocco is July 14th

The visit coincides with Ramadan, and that will mark the visit. King Mohammed VI will offer a dinner on 14th, which probably will force them to spend the night in the country.

The King and Queen will have a meeting with King Mohamed VI and his wife Princess Lalla Salma.

King Felipe will receive in audience the Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirán, the chairman of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, and President of the House of Councillors, Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah.

Arrival at Rabat airport where they will be welcome by King Mohammed VI and Lalla Salma

Official welcome with military honors at the Royal Palace

Private meeting

Iftar (evening meal when Muslims break their fast during Ramadan)

Tuesday 15

King Felipe VI will receive in audience at the Soussi Royal Residence of Guests the Moroccan Prime Minister and the chairmen of the House of Representatives and House of Councillors.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia will visit the mausoleum of Mohamed V and make an offering on the graves of Mohamed V and Hassan II

King Felipe VI and King Mohammed VI will inaugurate the Job Training Centre of Hospitality and Tourism and visit the Job Training Center for Women

Queen Letizia and Lalla Salma will visit a Research Against Cancer Center

Thanks so much for the schedule, Lula! This visit sounds great!

I loved the short Portugal visit last week, but this one I guess is going to be even more enjoyable. With the official dinner, all the visits and so, looks more like an official visit than the "normal" introductory visits they´re making.

I´m dying to see our King and Queen with King Mohammed VI and the lovely Lalla Salma. I hope QL will wear a long dress to the dinner to match the stunnings caftans I´m sure the Moroccan RF ladies will wear (I so love those clothes!).

If the KM and Lalla Salma bring their children to any of the events, then the package will be complete

I think Moulay Hassan and Lalla Khadija will be there. When François Hollande (President of France) came to Morocco, Moulay Hassan was there for the daily events, and Lalla Khadija joined them for dinner. The last time King Juan Carlos went to Morocco, the royal children were also there as well. So I'm hoping for it this time, let's wait and see...

This sounds more of an official visit. I am surprised it's a two day visit. It's great to see them visit during the holy month and that they get to attend an iftar banquet with their hosts.

Don't get you hopes up so far her style as queen consort has been hit and miss.

Actually the visit will last 24 hours, but including the night so they can have an official meal and respect the Ramadan.

Why Letizia didn't choose a brighter outfit? It was to dark and dull. I'm so disappointed with her choice, I won't get my hopes up for her other outfits for this trip.

The Moroccan royal family did look superb as usual. Queen Letizia's ensemble was so so, whereas King Felipe had a forced smile.
Hopefully we shall see amazing caftans worn by Lallas and Crown Prince Moulay Hassan attending the iftar.
