Topic to talk about the life and history of Princesses Hanila bint Mamoun, Abla bint Tahar and Bahia bint Antar (wives of King Mohammed V) and the wife of King Hassan II, Princess Lalla Latifa.

Hanila bint Mamoun
The first wife of King Mohammed V was Hanila bint Mamoun. They were married in 1925. She was the mother of their first daughter Fatima Zohra.

Lalla Abla bint Tahar
Princess Lalla Abla bint Tahar (5 September 1909 – 1 March 1992) was the second wife of Mohammed V of Morocco.

She was the daughter of Moulay Mohammed al-Tahar bin Hassan, a son of Sultan Hassan I of Morocco and twin brother of Sultan Moulay Yusef. She also had Glaoua origins, Abdessadeq el Glaoui explained in his 2004 publication that "Lalla Abla was chosen in the house Glaoui".

She married her first cousin Sultan Mohammed V of Morocco in 1928 or 1926. Her elder sister Princess Lalla Hania bint Tahar married Sultan Mohammed Ben Aarafa of Morocco.

She had five children.

Lalla Bahia bint Antar
Lalla Bahia bint Antar (unknown – 3 September 2008) was the third wife of Mohammed V of Morocco, who reigned from 1927 until 1961. Bahia was also the mother of Princess Lalla Amina of Morocco.

Lalla Bahia was a lady from a wealthy Berber family and she had Glaoua origins. Abdelssadeq el-Glaoui explained that just like Lalla Abla bint Tahar, her husband's second wife, Lalla Bahia was chosen from the house Glaoui. However, it is not specified whether it is on her maternal or paternal side that she has Glaoua origins.

Bahia died on 3 September 2008. Her funeral was held at the Mausoleum of Mohammed V in Rabat, Morocco.

Lalla Latifa Amahzoune
Allegedly born Fatima Amahzoune, but called Latifa (to avoid confusion with her cousin, the king's alleged first wife, Lalla Fatima bint Qaid Ould Hassan Amhourak), she is of the Zayane Amazigh, related to Mouha ou Hammou Zayani, and niece of the Qaid Ould Hassan Amhourak. She married Hassan II on 9 November 1961 in a double ceremony with Lalla Lamia as-Solh the bride of Prince Moulay Abdallah of Morocco.

She is maternal half-sister to General Mohamed Medbouh (the latter's father being of the Gzennaya Riffian tribe), who was executed – along with 9 other high-ranking military officers – for having widely participated in the 1971 failed coup d'état attempt against Hassan II, which took place during the King's forty-second birthday party in his summer palace. The execution took place on 13 July 1971 and was broadcast live on state TV.

After the death of Hassan II, she remarried to Mohamed Mediouri, the bodyguard of the late Monarch and former security chief of the royal palace.
