Unlike the previous years 2022 has not mainly been dominated by Covid-19,
but by national and international tensions, conflicts and war.
For family and friends, companions, the interested public and us - people with a profound interest in royalty –
2022 has also been the year of a very special person we’ve lost – Queen Elizabeth II..
It feels as if the royal year was divided into two halves:
One half full of celebrations full of pride and joy, the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations,
and one half full of pride and sadness, the obsequies.
For many of us it felt like a family member had passed away.
Over the many years the world and our lives changed, but Queen Elizabeth had always been there
– a symbol of stability, reliability, sense of duty, dignity, grace, kindness, interest in people and all aspects of life.
It’s a comfort to know that Queen Elizabeth had a long, fulfilled life
and that she was yet able to celebrate her jubilee and see how admired she has always been.
May Elizabeth II. - a wonderful Queen and person – rest in peace.
And may we in 2023 be inspired by the great values she has represented!
On behalf of the whole TRF Team I'd like to wish you and your loved ones
a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year 2023!
