Grand Duchess Maria of Russia recently attended the birthday party in London of her cousin Archduchess Helen of Austria.

While there the Grand Duchess met again with HM The Queen.

The first time the Grand Duchess met The Queen was when Her Majesty invited Maria and her parents to tea at Buckingham Palace while Maria was at Oxford in the early 1970s.

The term used in the message is Tsesarevich, not Tsarevich; i think this is correct, see

Until the birth of Grand-Prince Alexey, the eldest brother of Nicholas II was the Tsarevitch. This brother, Grand-Prince Georgy, however died in 1899. Now the next younger brother, Grand-Prince Michael, was the heir. He was not named Tsarevitch because of policy and superstition.

Policy: the third daughter of Tsar Nicholas II was just born, again no male heir, and the Tsar thought officially designating Grand-Prince Michael as the new Tsarevitch was only highlighting his lack of a heir.

Superstition: the Tsar thought designating an official Tsarevitch was challenging the Gods: he then would certainly not get a son. (The Tsar and Tsarina were under ill1! - advised influence of idiots pre-Rasputin).

Even without the Revolution, Grand Prince Michael could outlive his nephew.

Alexey was the Tsesarevich (the heir-apparent). Note the different spelling.
His uncles Georgy and Michael were Tsarevich (the presumed heir).
In English this difference is often lost and Alexey wrongly named Tsarevich. He never was Tsarevich: he was the last Tsesarevich of All Russia.

So the son of Maria Vladimirovna is not called Tsesarevich (heir apparent) but Tsarevich (presumed heir) as his mother is the presumed Head of the House. In a sense this styling is correct, actually.

As Lee-Z noted, the message clearly uses Tsesarevich, not Tsarevich.

Did you mean to write "uncle Georgy" rather than "uncles Georgy and Michael"? As you pointed out with your first post citing Helen Rappaport - The Romanov Sisters, Michael was not granted the titles of an heir to the throne.

Floppy didn't exactly throw himself out of the House,but he and Natalia "transferred themselves" to comfortable England.With all my might I never could understand why of all people he had to have Natalia.Probably in essence because he was a bit of a spoiled brat with not to much sense of responsibility....Not untill it was too late.
 
Tsar Nicolas II was against the wedding of Grand Duke Cyril with the divorcee Princess Melitta of Hesse.
Without this wedding no Grand Duchess Maria ...

I strongly commend Georg Prinz von Preußen ("Georgy Romanov") to see a fitness club. Not even for representation but just primarily for his health. I can see the presssure on his knees, his short breathing and the unease of his movements, because of all that mass. This is critical for his health. And he still "has" to procreate the imperial family...
 
GD Maria was found positive to coronavirus several days ago with a small flu condition but now has recovery

I am not sure but she does look younger? Maybe Botox or a small lift? What ever it is, she looks good.
