January 26, 1969: Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia (C) sits in between Queen Juliana (L) and Prince Bernhard of The Netherlands (R) during a gala banquet held in honour of state visit to Ethiopia by the Dutch monarch. Also participating in the visit were Princess Beatrix and Prince Claus.

Queen Beatrix unviels Statues of her Parents

Queen Beatrix today unveiled a bronze-plated statue of her late parents, Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard. The statue lies in the grounds of Soestdijk Palace, which was the home of Juliana and Bernhard from 1937 to their deaths in May and December 2004, respectively.
