King Albert Hosts Reception for Prime Ministers

King Albert II yesterday hosted a reception at the Royal Palace of Laeken for the Prime Ministers who have served during his reign. Jean-Luc Dehaene, Guy Verhofstadt, Yves Leterme, Herman Van Rompuy and Elio Di Rupo joined the King, Queen Paola, Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde for apéritifs in the palace’s rotunda before heading inside for a quick photo session and a lunch. Belgian Royals celebrates The King’s Feast

On November 15, the Belgian Royal Family has celebrated The King’s Feast. Since 1886, celebrations take place in honour of the Belgian Monarch. Present were Crown Prince Philippe, Princess Mathilde, Princess Astrid, Prince Lorenz, Prince Laurent, Princess Claire and Queen Fabiola. King Albert II Stays Silent in Congo

On Monday king Albert II and Queen Paola of the Belgians arrived in Kinshasa for a four day visit to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the independance of Congo.
