Danish Official Visit to India: Day Three
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary started today, Tuesday February 28, the third day of the official visit to India by attending at the official opening of the Danish business promotion conference “Partners for Green and Sustainable Progress”, where 38 Danish companies are participating. The conference was organized “to gain insight into additional market opportunities and build knowledge about new partnerships and business opportunities in India”. Following the conference took place the signing ceremonies between Danish and Indian companies at the presence of the Royal Couple.
Then, while the Crown Prince attended another session of the conference, the Crown Princess paid a visit to the hospital All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi as patron of the Danish organization “Maternity Foundation”. During the visit the Crown Princess was informed about the work of the hospital “with pregnancies and issues related to maternal health”.
Then Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were reunited to attend a reception with the Danish business delegation.
In the afternoon the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess were received by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Indian Presidential Palace. After a meeting the Royal Couple toured the presidential palace garden “Amrit Udyan”.
