Agreed. Across the board, it suited her personally and looked age appropriate. I really thought the hat from yesterday didn’t suit her or her age.

Hair style and head band really complemented each other nicely. Honestly- I think this is one of my favorite looks from Louise.
 
Louise's dress today is certainly much, much better than yesterday's outfit and definitely is more age appropriate. However, I'm not overly fond of today's dress, either. The headband is a winner, though. I feel like Louise is still in a bit of an awkward phase as far as her fashion goes. So often she's wearing items borrowed from her mother's closet and not the stylish items we've seen Sophie wear over the last few years but older and much more dowdy items. She almost always appears to be dressed far too old or matronly for her years and doesn't seem to have yet found her own style or to be having any fun at all with fashion. I'd love to see her get her own style thread here but I'd also love to see her begin to branch into more youthful and stylish choices. One can be quite appropriately and beautifully dressed and still look one's age.

Charlotte’s red dress and casual cooking clothes are cute.



From what I can see of Louise’s outfit at the concert last night, I like it. Looked cute and suited her. Her make up seemed particularly well done too. Liked her hair too.

I love Princess Charlotte's Ivory coat. Little Louis is soo adorable!
 
Estelle looks so grown up and as always beautiful! Estelles is wearing Her National dress on National Day. The embroidery is different then her Mothers. Do the flowers have any particular meaning to them?

Oscar looks so much like his Father! What a nice looking family. Do the men ever dress ip in national attire on National Day?

They don't dress up for National Day (it's probably seen as a bit embarrassing and silly for the guys, unlike Norway). Queen Silvia was the one who invented the women's outfit, so it's a relatively new tradition. You have to go back to the king's grandfather and his first wife Margareta (so more than a century) to find the men wearing any kind of traditional clothing.

I completely don't understand why should it be embarrassing and silly for men to wear a traditional outfit if their male ancestors in older times wore them.

It's kind of discriminatory and sexist, IMHO.

I wonder if and how many times Estelle has seen Disney's Cinderella? ?
 
Princess Estelle is so beautiful and already show signs of being a Great Queen one day. Prince Oscar looks a little overwhelmed but is handling the situation real well. He looks so handsome. They represent their Country well at such a young age. Their parents should be very proud!

Leah wears the gown that her mother wore in May 2002 at the concert for her wedding to Ari Behn.

She IS a child playing dress up. She has never been to a party like this before and may not get to go again for years. I would go full Disney with no regrets.

She looks lovely.
 
Estelle is a little girl living her best life right now and probably wanted to be extra fancy like big girls at a grown up party and I think her floofy extra Disney movie dress is just adorable!
