Tonight, The Crown Prince Couple attends American Chamber of Commerce 20th anniversary gala in Moltke's Palace, Copenhagen.
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary barely land back home in Denmark before next official event at home. The flight from Tokyo to Copenhagen arrives at 15.30 pm. So 3 hours before the dinner begin. They are a hardworking royal couple!
If they look tired or jetlagged tonight it is very understandable

I absolutely love this Erdem dress. She has some really beautiful clothes in her closet. Yes they don't look like they just returned from a long haul flight. I guess it helps being a fit person as well.

Can Mary please give us a tutorial on how to look *that* good after what I presume is jet lag from a long haul flight? I'd love to know her secrets!

Summary of article in Billed Bladet #48, 2019.
Written by Marianne Singer.
It was indeed a whirlwind tour to Poland!
Officially to mark the 100th anniversary of diplomatic ties between DK and the last time Poland gained it's independence. The history of Poland is dramatic to put it mildly!
But there were also commercial ties to reinforce as well as political ties, vis a vis Russia.
Apart from that a number of Danish businesses have settled in Poland while thousands of Poles are working in DK, many of whom are now settling here. Where they, just like the Dutch farmers who were settling here in the 80's, are becoming a valuable asset.
After touching down at the airport it was straight to the Presidential Palace where they were welcomed by President Andrzej Duda and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda. Here they had a lunch with official speeches emphasizing the ties between Poland and DK.
Then it was off to a very busy schedule! The temperature was near freezing. (For those who are not familiar with sub-zero temperatures: The first couple of days are the worst, then you have gotten used to it. We - humans and dogs - went through that transition these past couple of days here in DK.)
The included laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Celebrating the DK-sculpturer, Bertel Thorvaldsen, who among many artworks, made a bronze-sculpture of Kopernikus.
They met with Polish as well as Danish war veterans at the local veteran center. The Poles had just won a soccer match, so Mary presented a trophy and it was here that Frederik suddenly found himself surrounded by delighted Danish veterans. (See posts above.)
Diabetes is of course also a problem in Poland as well and this is an area where DK has a lot of know-how, and as such Mary with the DK Minister of Health took part in launching the health project: Cities Changing Diabetes.
While there our reporter met with a hardcore Mary-fan. Olga. She met Mary face to face during a past visit back in 2014.
Olga has a blog about Mary, so some of you may know her or her blog.
