(..) Frederik is in Dubai today and tomorrow but then he will be back in Denmark for a few days as regent as the Queen is abroad. Until the 10th.

"Today I had the opportunity to both talk about help for the 65 million islanders who are threatened by rising water levels, and focus on the Danish companies that are working to solve the climate crisis.
Together with climate ambassador Tomas Anker Christensen, the day began at a conference that focused on the conditions and challenges the island states in the Small Island Developing States struggle with on a daily basis. The low-lying islands feel the consequences of the rising sea temperatures, and the goal of the conference was to focus on both challenges and possible solutions to the problem.
My next stop at COP28 was an event where four Danish companies shared their experiences with capturing CO2 on a large scale. It is also called decarbonisation, and in a somewhat simplified way involves encapsulating and storing CO2 from larger production and transport companies before it escapes into the atmosphere.
At the end of the day, we ended with a reception for the entire Danish delegation.
