She needs better undergarments for this dress.otherwise, the look is all right.

I don't think better undergarments would be enough to salvage this dress, it's hideous, imo.

The dress is not so awful, I think the problem is in bad bra and the wrong choice of dress's colour.
If Eugenie feels comfortable, then let it be.

It looks to me like she has put on a couple of extra pounds. Perhaps the dress size is too small... No bra would take care of that problem.

Wrong style for Eugenie...makes her look dumpy. New underpinnings aren't going to change that.

She's big-breasted and nothing short of dramatic weight loss is going to change that. I think she would look better if she stood up tall and straight, but maybe the weight of her boobs and a desire to not draw attention to them makes her slouch. A better structured bra might make a difference but I can understand a desire to be comfortable to be paramount to her. I don't think the relatively pale clingy jersey frabric helps, nor that the dress is quite short. A longer dress in a fabric that didn't "give" as much would be a better choice, I think.
But that beautiful, beaming, smile, is what's really important and what we should be focusing on, IMO.

Also, she has back issues- scoliosis.
To me, it looks like a dress made of sweatpants, and she needs a better bra.

I kind of cringe at the suggestion that she might need to lose weight in order to reduce the size of her breasts. She looks like she's at a healthy weight right now, and just happens to naturally have larger breasts. She needs a better bra, but I don't think she needs to lose weight.
I do agree about the smile. She looks happy, and that should be what is important.

I didn't express myself clearly there. I didn't mean to imply that I think she should lose weight and thus reduce the size of her breasts, merely to say that I think that's the only thing I think would reduce them. I think her weight is just fine.

After I hit send I wondered if that was what you had meant.
If she wants to reduce her breast size - particularly if they're causing or contributing to back problems - she could get a breast reduction.
I could see her breasts contributing to pre-existing back problems, but I wouldn't be surprised if her posture here is more of an overall problem with her posture than an attempt to hide her breasts because she's self conscious about them. She looks really, genuinely happy, and rather at ease to me - I think this is more just her natural stance.

I think the York Princesses have played a feature role in the travails of their generation of young women who were not stick figures. Size O and all that garbage. We have followed them through their happy childhood, awkward teenage years with it's accompanying angst and focus on weight and here we have two wonderfully happy young women who are healthy, happy and not overweight.
Their every fashion faux pas has been splashed across the tabloid pages, their fashion taste cruelly lampooned, their weight constantly mocked and talked about like everyone had a right to their say. Yet who could forget Beatrice and her wonderful butterfly hat at the races? Their parents worked damned hard supporting them and made them both incredibly strong young women when many others would be struggling with eating disorders and mental health issues.
Yes, I think Eugenie has been generously endowed and I think she may have a problem in later years but, I am not going to witter on about "decent bra" or that lovely euphenism "underpinnings" because there is only so much the very best bra in the world can do and when we start talking surgery I think we really need to back off.
Both Beatrice and Eugenie are wonderfully happy young women whose most constant accessory is a beutific smile. Does it really get any better than that?

Yes, but this a fashion thread so a discussion of what Eugenie's clothes and how she looks in them is to be expected. I have no problem with her figure but given the dress she chose to wear I do think a decent bra or/and standing a little straighter would make it appear more flattering.

Better yet, bin that dress and wear something more flattering! That grey dress looks like a bag, and it's not like the color does anything for her.
I think she'd look better in jewel tones, and something less clingy.

I think maybe one person here even mentioned her weight and it was not a suggestion for her to lose any.
I think her weight is fine, I think her dress choices are often not very well done and unflattering to her figure.

This dress is a catastrophy for her figure, and I really do not understand her choice. They exist thousand of outfits which would look wonderful on her, and she chooses the exacte shape absolutely unappropriate for her type of body! I really do not understand this girl.

It's not just Dave...
...but there seems to be a trend for young women to be very nicely dressed and their escorts to look like they just finished working in the garden. I notice it among celebrities on the red carpet and among 'ordinary' couples as well. Beatrice looks very cute in this outfit, and Dave is cute despite his!

I agree! Dave looks just awful, like he grabbed the first items of clothing he could find and rushed out the door.

In general, Beatrice looks nice although I'm not so keen on the belt. It doesn't seem right with the outfit, I think a small, simple black one would've looked better.
