Looking at photos of Haya, Ameerah, Moza, Rania and other middle eastern women, they certainly do wear necklaces and broaches from time to time. Not often in some cases, Ameerah very rare photo for instance.

IMO its more about the skirts. Both of which were stunning. She had such color and pattern in her skirts, didn't want to compete in her top or jewels.

I think it's OK. If she had pulled any other color out of that skirt for her top, she would not have looked like Mary. But black is just so dour. That skirt though is lovely in the wind!
And I just love how he always leans into her. Sigh.

The maxi printed skirt matched with the black top is a stopper. The hairdo and earrings worked perfectly.

The skirt with all of it's rich colors is a thing of beauty! If Mary went with any other color top besides black it would have been over kill. She looked wondrous from head to toe...

Looking nice and lovely. In her 11 years old jacket, but she never looked as good in it as now! I actually think also both pants and shoes are the same as in year 2005. I much like how her hair is styled.

Mary looked wonderful tonight (These pictures actually don't give justice to the gown compared to seeing the gown in living pictures on tv) Mary has i clearly increased the weight the last year and it only suits her

And finally a new gown for Mary. She is always in recycled gowns, so nice to see a new one. The tiara looks beautiful on her. I'm 99 percent sute it's the necklace from Margrethe's 75 years birthday in Aarhus last year.

The tiara and her hair-do is just wonderful. But the dress looks like a see-through dress with white lingerie underneath. Not nice at all.

I don' t know how is looking in living pictures on tv but from the pictures here i don't like at all!

I love the look from the waist up. The bottom of the dress I don't like. Looks like the keys on the back of old wind up toys, sticking out of the skirt. Maybe its just the pic. But the top of the dress, her hair and the new tiara are great.

I don't like the dress. Black laser cut "lace" on a white/cream background is just not a good look IMO.

The hair and makeup and, of course, that tiara are impeccable.
