Projects 2012-2015
- Support for Alzheimer's research.
2.100.000 € for the Project Vallecas of early diagnosis and workup unit. The plan includes a new provision of 270.000 € for three projects in the Research Unit and the Alzheimer's Project and the celebration of the VIII International Symposium on Advances in Alzheimer Research, scheduled for September 21 this year.
- Combating the crisis.
The action of the Foundation includes support for the Food Bank, Caritas, Red Cross, Manos Unidas, Soup kitchens and Foundation to help against Drug Abuse, among others, for an amount close to the 2.500.000 euros. Also included in this support various social and educational projects in Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Haiti and the Middle East.
-Help in the reconstruction of Lorca
After the earthquake that struck the area last year, such as the financing of equipment for the nursing home of San Diego Foundation, the restoration of the Academy of Music, the Carmen Church and the Palace Huerto Ruano, for an amount of 271.000 Euros.

Queen Sofia presided the charity event "Diplomatic Cultural Show". The collection will go to the Queen Sofia Foundation to equip new stores of the Food Bank of Madrid.
