Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day
Today, Thursday March 17, St.Patrick’s Day, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were present at the 1st Battalion Irish Guards’ St. Patrick’s Day Parade held at Mons Barracks in Aldershot.
The Duke is the Colonel of the Regiment.
The Duchess presented the sprig of shamrock to Turlough Mὸr, the 17th Regimental Mascot of the Irish Guards.
After the presentation the Royal couple posed for the official group photos with officers and sergeants of the Irish Guards.
The Duchess wore a green wool coat dress by Laura Green matched with green suede pumps, green pillbox hat and a gold shamrock brooch.
The Duke wore the black frock coat of the Regiment’s uniform.
